I come home today, and there's this random shi-tzu in my yard. I own a shi-tzu, but mine is black. This dog was white. I couldn't leave it outside so coyotes could have dinner so I put it in my garage. What should I do with it? It has no tags.

Shi-tzus are like the perfect roomate: they dont start shit, they listen to you, and all they do is sleep. I don;t want another dog though.

Give it a few days/a week to see if anyone comes rings your doorbell or snoops around your yard for it. If nobody comes, go to the vet and get it checked out for any sicknesses or injuries 'cause thats always good to know about. Also see if the doctor can tell you around how old it is. Beyond that, yeah, I guess maybe fliers would work, but after that I don't think there's much more you can do unless you put it out or in the pound, which would both suck for a Shi-Tzu.
