Is anyone else on the board having problems withit

Hi

I'm on 56k & this forum seems to be stuffing me about alot.

Everytime I load up a page & it takes more than about 15 secs, it soundly stops like the page is loaded & shows some messages & then at the end of the pages I get this

"CGI Timeout
The specified CGI application exceeded the allowed time for processing. The server has deleted the process."

Is anyone else having these problems. if not, it must be me, PSY CAN U HELP ME

Yup, Yup, I Have The Same Thing, Yall... It's ONLY ON My 56K, When I'm At Work It Doesn't Do It... And It Can't Be All The Graphics, Because It Does It On The Main Page Too, Where There Aren't That Many Graphics! And The Smiley Faces DONT Work, Either... I Think That's Evident, Since There Aren't Any On The Board, Yet...

I'm not sure about the smileys thing

but I get the CGI error here at work- i'm on a 64k leased line here - not much better than a 56k modem

whereas I dont get the prob at all at home (on adsl)

it seems to do it more when the connection here is running slowly, if i hit refresh its ok.

I was forced to upgrade the board to a beta version when I moved it to this faster server - when theres a release i'll upgrade it again now lifes a lot easier for maintaining this place

I Can't Get Any Of It To Work, Including HTML.  Pics, Links, Any Of That, It Says "Error On Page' At The Bottom When I Try.

YES!!! ITS REALLY PISSING ME OFF NOW!!! I keep gettin CGI timeout all the time just now only about 5 of the topics have come up...
This will get fixed right??

OH, I Guess We're All Just Thinking 2 Different Things.  None Of The Buttons At The Top Of The Post Page Work, Including The Smileys, But If You Type Someting Like  Which Would Be : )   Then I Guess It Works....

I liked the other board better

1. It was faster
2. You didnt have to keep on loging in.
3. You could actully click the smileys
4. Evertime I try to post this warning comes up and I have to press yes..it say "An error has accoured in this script page"...

YES, YES N.I.W!  LOL, a fuckin script page pops up when I try to put up a smilie OR post somethin, I just click yes and it posts my post.  Although, the board is faster, and better, but the script pages piss me off.

I don't have a problem with this board except the fact that every time I post the damn warning comes up and I have to press it twice so it can post.
