Pietrus, Barnes, And O'Bryant Likely Done In Golden State

Forwards Mickael Pietrus and Matt Barnes are unlikely to return to the Warriors next season. Also likely gone is their 2006 lottery pick Patrick O'Bryant.

Pietrus tried desperately to get out of Golden State last summer, and Barnes was unable to duplicate his 06-07 success.

The Warriors would like to keep Kelenna Azubuike, but if the standout reserve returns, it will be under a new contract. As expected, Azubuike said that he will opt out of the final year of his minimum-wage deal and test the market.

Isn't B.Diddy a free agent this summer? This off-season could turn Golden State from playoff contenders to the T-Wolves.

Looks like the Warriors are taking a page out of the Oakland A's book.

Barnes didn't do shit this season. O'Bryant was a bust so who cares? But we are gonna miss Pietrus if he leaves, which most likely he will go.

Baronidas can opt-out if he wants to, but he prolly wont. Hes getting paid a fat ass salary in his final year.

Since Pietrus is pretty much gone for sure, I think Barnes should stay, especially if Azuibuike ends up signing with somebody else. The reason he flopped so bad this year was because there were too many players who were thrown into the SF spot.

Nobody cares about  O'Bryant.

Next summer.

edit: if he exercises his player option for the final year of his contract.

Just to be fair, don't you live in Europe? How would you know about bandwagon fans besides outside this foru,? I've been living in the Bay area my whole life and people here have been loving the Warriors since I was even born. The games were all being attended even when they had Mike Dunleavy and and Adone Foyle. People have been loyal fans here. Now I can't speak of the fans out of the Bay Area because I really don't know. And the reason there wasn't much talk on this forum before the Warriors became good was because there really wasn't much to talk about. I have stated before the Warriors even made the playoffs last year that I was a fan, and I've been one ever since I started following the NBA.

Don't get defensive man... all them Snoop Doggs going wild in the stadium wearing yellow shirts and shit ... bandwaggon ass niggas... there's no doubt that a lot of cali people who would rather root for the Kings or Lakers normally rooted for the Warriors as soon as they realized they had the Mavs' number

Release my nutsack from your mouth.. you've obviously never seen me shit on "Laker fans" around here. The Lakers have as many bandwaggon fans as any team in the league. I hate fake Laker fans more than I hate crackhead ass gimmick posters.
