yup.. ok here's my 'master plan'.

i'll buy a new domain.. the reason?

everytime the domain is 'on error' i get an email (not from them.. from somewhere that watches the performance).
its odd that both times we've had board wipes the sites had a spurt of being on error, and seeing as though its slow as hell sometimes - plus i'll be able to update easier etc etc  its a 'good plan' (tm)

i've now got UBB (aka infopop) i'll sort a new domain out today (which normally takes a few days to go through) then i'll set a new board up etc etc..

that means all my probs and worries are out of the picture.

i hope to sort it by friday

The "wipes" are good because the forum gets too big,topics get old and it's just very convenient to me and i'm sure others who can't always keep up! Damn..i'm the minority here so fuck it i guess it's hopeless..jus do whatever then...-Tanjint

i'm sure u would b able 2 get 'em back up after n e way cos they r still there if u type their direct url but just not showing up on the board, i'm not an expert but i think its possible.

tech speak > but it means sitting down and going through the posts directory and manually editing / sorting old posts by date into the index file used for the board

easy speak > it would make my hands fall off, and cost too much.

plus it could happen again.. and I'd rather fix all my probs for good.
