i just saw the video and damn....... it seems like 'l.a, l.a 2008' came across as a spoof video to me........ is this what hip hop's come to? i love the song to death, but that videos just awful generic and everything that the westcoast needs to distance itself from.

its obvious dude made the video for "the hood" and to show the hood love, i dont think he was trying to be incredibly artistic but overall i like the video and support the dudes movement regardless of whether i believe he busts his guns or not

I've always liked this song.  I liked how they flipped the sample.  However, I don't like the video.  Hot Dolla needs a coach to help him perform better on videos.
