Cube, Snoop and countless others will all be willing to help out their old pal (and rap over Dre beats) and certain MC's like from the Bone crew or Twista will be able to rap at supersonic speeds as the DOC used to.

D.O.C. is a true legend. His debut album introduced us to the Rakim of the West Coast. The accident was one of the saddest things that ever happened to the rap industry, especially the West. He could've become as big as Snoop, Dre and Pac with his amazing talent, lyrical skills and unique delivery.

Anyway, it's good to see him around, writing for other guys.

I like how he still says he's better than everyone ( debatable ) ....maybe you can ask him why Ice Cube came harder than him on the only two songs they did together - Grand Finale, Parental Discretion Iz Advised.

MC Breeze from LA Posse was nice on the mic too during that era. His verse on Played Like A Piano was sick as hell! Cube went hard too

great interview. If Detox gets finished by the summer as DOC stated that they are trying to do, even late summer August into September the album "should" be out by November/December. I am still holding out hope but if it gets released early next year its ok as well

yeah i wouldn't be very angry if it turns out that they decide to release it next year.

it's just that i suspect that it will be pushed back a couple of months, based on the sales argument you provided in an other topic some time ago ( relatively low sales in the 1st quarter) and that would be very disappointing to me

I think there is a 50/50 chance right now, who really knows I am guessing really but I hope it comes out by the end of the year as well. The vibe I got reading the interview makes me hopefull that they are trying to finish it up

i've re-read the interview from 1 and a half year ago and the DOC was pretty much saying the same thing : can't rap anymore, detox this summer, voices through hot vessels, a DOC movie, controversy on dre stealing beats from colleagues, feelings on the Deuce album.

the D.O.C. told some new things in part 1; yeah similar topics were discussed so i see your point but i don't consider that a bad thing ( he already told the story about which rapper Dre thinks that sounds beat on his beats though; i think it was in the interview with thaformula.com).
