Just saw this last night. Really great comic book movie. Definitely one of the best ones I've seen. Great acting, solid script, awesome CGI.

lots of fan service in this movie too.  basically, its the best comic book movie.

It managed to be serious and funny and action packed without becoming retarded (fantastic 4)

The movie kick ass its a must see.Robert Downey Jr kicked as in the movie and the IRon man scenes are fucking awsome.It reminds of a mix between Spiderman and transformers.

I went to see it with my brother, who's also a film freak. The two of us never leave the theatre until end of the credits have rolled. There were about 180 people in the room to see the film, and only 8 of them (including me & my bro) were watching the credits. We had a feeling there was gonna be something at the end of the credits. Sure thing! I recognized Sam Jackson's voice instantly

All those idiots left the room without even knowing that Sam Jackson will be in the sequel. Sure, they'll find out about it later on, but finding about it in the theatre is just way more fun Some other dude who sat there during the credits was like "haha, suckers!", aimed at those who already left the room.

Also, on a similar note, the theatre I visit changed some things. One of them is entering the "movie rooms" (what do you call that in English?). In the past, there was one entrance, and one exit. But now they've changed up their whole act. You have to enter the room and leave the room via the same door. So anyways, as the credits were still rolling, people who came to see the late night showing of the film (10:45 PM) were entering the room, 'cause since all those other people already left the room from the 8 PM showing. Then at the end of the movie, they show Sam Jackson. That must've ruined the surprise for them. Fuckers. Maybe next time they will know not to enter the room until the credits have rolled

well, samuel jackson (nick fury) isn't going to be in the sequel, it's actually a setup for 'the avengers' movie marvel is trying to get going. robert downey jr actually makes an appearance in the hulk movie (also an avenger) as tony stark .. so marvel has the ball rolling for the movie now

iirc they've got captain america, thor and black panther movies in the works, finish that off with iron man, wolverine and spiderman and you get most of the current avengers lineup (bar captain america being dead)

this was a great movie. best comic book film i've seen. although batman begins is a close second.

Robert downey jr and Jeff bridges were spot on with the characters.

Did anyone get the reference to Iron Man 2?
When Terrance Howard looks at the silver Iron Man suit and says "Next time" that refers to Iron man 2 when his character dawns a suit. Can't wait for that
