I was part of their online street team back in 2002/2003/2004. I used to promote them heavily all over the internet: posting banners, posting reviews, contacting websites, etc...I was a huge fan. They had a unique West Coast sound (thanks to DJ Slip). Something fresh. And each of the four MC's had their own way of rhyming and they complemented each other on the mic.The thing that set them apart from other up-and-coming acts back then was that they had major affiliations for an underground act:- they were connected to Snoop (they appeared on the Doggystyle All Stars album)- they were connected to Ice Cube (IV Life Records rapper Too Cool made a song with Ice Cube called "Frozen" - it never got released)- they made a collabo album with Tha Eastsidaz (Deuces, Tray's & Fo's - never got released)- they even had their own radio show on 100.3 The Beat called "Homejamz" with Steve Harvey- they had their own clothing line (not some cheap-looking shit. More on some stylish Phat Farm shit. Check pics below for a few examples)- apparently they had a very solid rep in the streets (largely due to the car club Mafia IV Life)...Even today I still believe that these guys really had the potential to mean something in contemporary West Coast rap music. They had plans to drop a group album first, followed by two solo albums from the IV Life rappers, and a collabo album between two IV Life rappers. The way I see it, they also were aiming too high: like many other acts, they were trying to get a major deal, 'cause the other deals they were offered back then weren't really that good. But I kept telling them, it's give & take on both sides. You can't expect to get a major deal out of nowhere. First you have to prove you can move some units on an indie, and only THEN you should start considering going major. I think the same thing is happening with Crooked I. I perfectly understand that these guys don't want a fucked up label deal, but negotiate! Make it a 1-album-only-deal, so you're not tied to them for the rest of your career.I've got ALL of their material on my computer. I'll upload some shit in the coming week, not today. If I would forget about it, just bump this thread again so I'm reminded of it.

need that eastsidaz collabo album
That Frozen song is un-leaked to my knowledge. So, it'll be rather hard to find.
I used to have all of their shit, back when they had their own site up and running. This always happens, though. Some rapper or rappers creates a lot of buzz, suddenly gets a huge fanbase, and then falls off the face of the Earth never to be heard from again.
