regardless Quik is a Legend in the rap game and doesn't need to drop another album but it would be nice. I talked to him last year around Christmas and he said he ain't putting shit out!! He don't have too! Dude got his own shit cracking but don't get it wrong.. He is still laying tracks down and doing his thang.. He said having a hit is like having a hit of crack! Once you have one hit you gotta have another.. So don't be surprise if he slaps you up side the head with another banger. Cause he be fucking with G One all day in the studio dropping slappers. I been there. Quik is my boy..

I don't think he'll ever got back to his Safe and Sound Death Row style or earlier now that Mausburg died.  I just don't think he's into that gangbangin rap anymore, which is cool.  But there is no reason at all he can't go back to that funky style that was on Balance and Options and Rhythmalism.  "I don't want to party with you" off Balance and Options was the bomb.

Remember "We Still Party"! Thats a great party track with funk elements. Hopefully we get another Rhytm-Al-Ism.
