The Nuggets have made no indication that they will actively shop Carmelo Anthony, but they will listen to offers, according to the Denver Post.

Because of his off the court problems and the luxury tax, Denver may be inclined to see what sort of package Anthony would yield.

like i said already, every team eventually gets tired of first-round exits and off-court problems. blowing up was inevitable for the nuggets.

carmelo is a special talent, but i think its pretty clear that he will probably NEVER be motivated to fix his attitude while playing in denver.

^^^LMAO that was my first thought when I said to myself, "what team would be interested in a selfish 'me first' ball hog scorer who plays no defense?" The KNICKS, OF COURSE! He'll fit in great with Zach Randolph and Starbury and Nate Robinson, and Jamal Crawford

^Melo is better than all those players combined. If the Knicks get him, they're a playoff team.

Melo plays no defense though

perfect Knicks material but they'd be fools to think he'd behave living in NY

forreal. i dont like melo all that much, but he is without a doubt more talented than the entire knicks roster.

more importantly though, the nuggets are coming to a realization about how much attitude can affect the line-up. i doubt they'll be looking to deal with the knicks to solve their problems, unless they want marbury's expiring contract.

Denver would have to be fucking stupid to give up Carmello Anthony. Iverson is on his way out in a couple years, they need to build the franchise around Melo. This would be like the Lakers trading Kobe away instead of Shaq back in 04.

giving up melo means they want to blow the team up. meaning they dont care about melo OR iverson (or k-mart), so i think that argument is void. if iverson opts out this year, the team is gonna be stuck in purgatory... not good enough to be in play-offs, not bad enough to get a franchise-changing draft pick. thats the worst possible position any team could be in, they'll be the western conference pacers.

and i think theres a huge difference between this scenario and the kobe/shaq one. kobe was the hardest working player in the league. melo is supposed to be a team captain but he acts like an idiot and is a bad influence on his teammates. from the looks of it, he doesnt even want to play in denver anymore.

They were better with Andre Miller anyway. Melo/JR/Miller was sick trio, they should've kept building around them.
