DOPE INTERVIEW, KOKANEHAS THAT KNOWLEGE, GOO2 C HIM ON THE RITE PATH AGAIN, DOPEDOPEDPGC23
And to those who were complaining about the long wait, I hope ya'll realize why that was lol, just look at the length of that shit! But about the interview, I always feel like Kokane comes across very honest and sincere in his interviews, he doesn't seem to put up an act or anything, which is rare these days to me.
Props, good interview. I hope Kokane is on "Detox" (if it ever comes out)
Sorry about the long wait but I decided to drop part 2 and 3 as a bigger part 2 version instead. So here is the entire thing for you guys Dubcnn hooked up with Kokane recently for the first time in two years to conduct an in-depth interview about his upcoming projects but ended up going back in time to the Ruthless era and Kokane shared some of his memorable stories with us about the past. The interview was over an hour long so we decided to drop the interview in 2 parts. This second part continues with Kokane talking about Ruthless Records, Eazy E and Death Row. We also discuss his current projects with Suga Free, Raine N Lane N Kokane as well as getting the latest on working with Dr. Dre.Kokane goes in-depth about his working process in the studio, what his family means to him and how it helps him through hard times, and of course we talk about his upcoming solo album. We also get some words on his time on Dogghouse Records with Snoop Dogg and why that didn't go the way it was supposed to go, and his relationship with Snoop now. Those are only a few of the topics we touch on in this in-depth interview.http://www.dubcnn.com/interviews/kokane08-part2/Also check out a new Kokane joint "Check Out My Melody" below:Kokane - Check Out My Melody
I think theres a mix up about High Powered Entertainment....theres 1 run by John Silva from the Northwest and another by Mr Capone-E which are the ones who put out the Bizzy Solo. High Powered Ent from Seattle actually put out good stuff...they dropped that Spice 1 album, Killa Tay, and that last Daz compilation that came out..I dont think they ever signed Bizzy or Layzie to deals.
