I wanna get into Gaming, Help Me out here......

Ok, I have a Wii, I have like 2 games (The Simpsons, Mario Party 8 [worst game ever], and the sports games that came with it).  I've never hooked it up to the internet (should I?)  I want to get Mario Kart.  I'm into the type of games that you can just pick up for 20 mins here and there (like maro kart etc).  Also, are there any good baseball games for Wii?

I also have a DS Lite, which I play waaaay more.

Can someone reccomend me some games? 


I think I'm gonna get one of the nintendo usb things so it'll detect the internet (I Don't have wireless).  Then I can download games right?  Also can I play wii games against other people with the internet?

I'm a total retard when it comes to gaming lol.

Every game that supports multiplayer can be played over the internet too. (I assume this but why shouldnīt it work?) Mario Kart is an example.

Iīve got me a Wii a couple of weeks ago too and still have to hook it up on the internet yet. I think itīs definitely worth it since the "internet service" doesnīt cost you anything. I imagine playing Mario Kart against others (even online) is really fun. Also, you need internet connection to download those old school games (they cost money though.)

I canīt really tell you about those games you want cause so far I only have games that you play for hours straight lol (Zelda, Metroid etc...)

Check this baseball game. Itīs called MLB power pros but doesnīt seem to feature real MLB players but comic players. Has a good rating though. 8.4/10.

mario kart is awesome. depends if your lookin for single or multi-player but for wii i'd reccomend mario strikers too, a lot of fun. for single player zak and wiki is great point and click style game but with the wii remote. smash bros brawl is essential too. for the ds definitely worth playing any of the pheonix wright games - basically like interactive stories but there's something really appealing about it. the new super mario bros and trauma center are both well worth checkin on ds too...
