Laker Fans...Who would you rather face in the WCF?

I personally think the Hornets would be the easier opponent, but I wouldn't mind facing the Spurs... It'd be extra nice to see the Lakers take the Spurs out, considering the history between the 2 teams. On the other hand, it would also be pretty crazy to see a series between the top 2 MVP candidates. Overall, I prefer facing the Hornets- a.because it'll be an easier road to the finals b.the Hornets are like a weaker version of the Jazz and c.the entertainment value of the games will be higher. Who would you prefer to face in the 2008 western conference finals?

i want the spurs. fisher is playing great and i can see him containing parker more than CP3 and the length of gasol and odom will kinda erase duncan (in ANOTHER series) and it's not like bowen has ever really ever stopped kobe before.

im no laker fan....but i think lakers would rather face the hornets.....easier team...plus, Bowen could end up hurting kobe by "accident"

^It's all a matter of opinion...I think the Jazz would currently be giving the Spurs trouble as well. The Jazz are defensively better than the Hornets...I just think they have a tougher team.

lol Duncan hasnt been erased. The hornets have just done a good job of double teaming him and he had one terrible game. Duncan isnt the type of player that takes on a double team. He sets up teammates for wide open shots out of the double team. Just cus his scoring dips in a series, doesnt mean he isnt just as much of a factor as if he was averaging 30.

I don't know. Like I said in the other thread, Chris Paul is really starting to scare me. I'd rather we play the Spurs but that might be a bad look for Kobe, he has a sore back and a torn pinky finger - one of their goons is almost certain to try to hurt him.
