Dope soundtrack, "Bad Intentions", "The Wash", "Str8 WestCoastin", "Holla" are all classics.

Tough one, just looking over the tracklists now and thinking, I'd probably say they are about equal. The Wash has more tracks I prefer but the tracks on the Aftermath comp that are good, are really good. I think

I'll go with the Aftermath comp, Dre tried to do something a bit different.

i just mean there are a couple very dope tracks and then alot i dont care about...very average, no great style ...dre can do it better...i think you can hear that something  went wrong with both albums
the only tracks on the wash that i really like are the knockturanl and dre tracks ..and thats it ..even the xzibit song isnt really good
on the aftermath compilation i love  East Coast / West Coast Killas, Blunt Time, Sh**tin On The World
Been There Done That,  and  Nationowl
tracks like "as The Worl Keeps Turning".  "Got Me Open"and  "Str-8 Gone" and "Sexy Dance" arent bad at all too
so the aftermath compilation is better but still nowhere it could have been

i see.

but how do you think Dre could have done it better? do you mean with his own production, or with picking the producers/tracks for both compilations, or?

Something that both albums have in common is that the tracks produced by Dre are the best tracks on the albums, both these albums were rushed out I think (anyone clarify that?) and a lot of tracks although they may have a similiar sound to that of the Dre's just don't stand up to the quality of the tracks that Dre was more involved in.
