Classic? That word gets thrown around way too much. It was a cool song, but the raps wasn't nothin special at all, and the beat is just an interpolation. Its not bad but its far from classic.

Great song, but it's not on the level of other songs by these two. It's not a classic.

Co-sign, it sounded a bit rushed, like it was trying hard to be G Thang part 2 - it sampled the same song as that did, the Leon Haywood joint, so to me it felt like they kind of put it together real quick... though the rhymes were dope

Also the thing that made G Thang and The Chronic hot was that it sounded old and smoked out like 70s tracks because of the sampling and any replaying was keeping with that vibe - with The Wash the replaying sounded too clean and digital and crisp in my opinion - I like Dre's newer beats where shit is mad sharp and clear, but for that sample they got replayed it didn't have the right feel

i love this song but to me it doesnt hold wait against true classic cuts like Still Dre, Nuthin But a G Thang and Gin & Juice. That soundtrack had some dope tracks like Holla, Truck Volume etc. Wish Dre would do more projects like that where he doesnt have worry about the soundtrack being a certified classic and he can just make good music...
