Eminem is an underrated beat maker, for sure.

I think that Eminem makes cool beats, but he definitely needs to let Dr. Dre mix (all of) them. (And I mean each and every single one of them). ;)

Yea, I think eventually he'll be a big name producer, but there's a lot of big producers who don't get the credit they deserve, because the lyrics overshadow the beat, like Erick Sermon, great producer.  The dude from De La Soul is awesome, but Plug One gets all the attention.  All the guys who produced for Pac, you never even hear of anymore... Even Puffy is underrated, his early stuff was classic.  Peace~

Eminem has been on fire lately with production. His production matches him well too.

hell yea

At his best he's close to Dr.Dre-level.
But he can get a little repetive some times, and some of his beats sounds unfinished.

I totally agree. I remember a few months ago, right before "The Eminem Show" leaked/dropped, everyone was like 'aww he's wack, i'm not looking forward to hearing him over his own beats', doubting his skills before even giving him a chance and hearing him out first, but I was VERY impressed with the work he did on his new album & that "Renegade" beat was awsome. The beats Dre did weren't even my fav. beats on "The Eminem Show", thats says alot because I consider Dre to be the G.O.A.T when it comes to production.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

Eminem has produced  alot more number 1 singles than a lot of big name producers, and he has some nice dark beats too......even though i now HATE Without Me, that song is ingenius, and if Em gave that beat to anyone else they woulda blown the fuck up off it too....

"Cleaning Out My Closet," "Square Dance" and "Superman" are all near classic beats.

Em said in an interview recently he is now starting to learn how to use more equipment, like the drum machine.  Before he had DJ Head do all his drum tracks.  He's coming full circle.

I think that's why he doesn't get the props he deserves as a producer is because people don't think he's really producin, they think he's just puttin his name on it.  I forgot another great song he produced......

Rock City was tight too. I think his rappin abilities overshadow his production abilities so no one recognizes his work on the boards.
