Gambling is poison.
Trauma-san:
It breaks down to this. The problem with moderation is, you're moving away from god... because to not do it at all would be like god, God doesn't gamble. Moderate gambling might not be a problem, BUT, God would'nt do it even moderately. A Serious gambler is obviously closer to satan, so why even meet him halfway? It's like people that socially drink are Half Alcoholics, as opposed to not being an alcoholic, you know?

I definitely understand what your saying. But gambling is not the only way you move away from God. Listening to music that doesn't glorify the Lord is also moving away from Him and we all do that. So completely condemning one thing while something else is about just as bad is like a double standard.
Trauma-san:
We gotta take it a step at a time, LOL. Maybe bad music is next, haha.

Don Jacob:
--- Quote ---I think about gambling like alcohol. If you have a little bit to drink, just because you enjoy the beverage, then it's okay. But once you begin drinking for the sole purpose to become drunk every night then it is absolutely wrong.
Same with gambling, if you play because you enjoy the game then it's okay. But once you do it just to hit the jackpot and youend up like gamblers who give away all their belongings then it is wrong.
