I think the fact that he took out one of the better EliteXC fighters proves that he definitely is ready for MMA competition. He also lasted on the ground and had some surprisingly nice counters. I dunno why people underrate his ability so much.

right now the kimbo fans are getting worse then the dipset fans were at one point, i never had a problem with dipset, it was just the constant dickridin from theinr fans that was too much, and know with comments as:

I've followed kimbo since hes first streetfight was put up on the net, and its nice to see a guy that was homeless at one point, now makin good money and getting better.

hes right now fighting a bunch of garbage fighters so they can build him up as a fighter,

1'sf fight, bo cantrell, fightrecord 10-11 + hes was on a 5 fight losing streak

2'nd fight, tank abbot, dude has a 9-14 record, its always been entertaining seeing the guy getting knocked out all the time, hes not a threat to any pro mma fighter today

3rd fight. james thompson, hes best competition so far, fightrecord 14-9, the first guy he fought that go more wins then losses, james thompson controlled him on the ground and gave him some trouble, kimbo came out a bit stronger standing, and the jugde broke up the fight mostly because of thompsons ear.

truth is kimbo has a 3-0 record, he fights like a guy with a 3-0 record, 3 fights people!guy has alot of heart, and good punching power, and hopefully he will get better and continue winning..

right now hes not even in there with the top 20-30 heavywheights, hopefully, he will prove himself against better fighters, and be up there in a couple of years.
