Yuk is a personal favourite of mine, i wouldnt say he is a legend but i anticipate every release of his.

He should be appreciated more. But he just sort of comes and goes. He aint really done too much that has had a big effect on the West.

As a solo artist- No

But he does have a good catalog of music.
co sign.....i dont really hear him mentioned outside of this board nowadays, but then again i aint from the bay....im sure he has legend status out there tho'....but no one around my way is bumping anything of his outside of i got 5 on it.....
Pretty much exactly what both of you said.."5 on It" was a major hit for the west, and he has been one of the better rappers over the last decade, but not enough to where everybody notices his moves. I guess it depends on what defines a "legend".

His verse on the track "Heat" (UGA 2) alone makes him a dope solo artist. To me he's a westcoast legend, he may borrow too many lines from other rappers sometimes (Jay-Z, Biggie and Pac, Weezy lately) but he has real lyrical talent.

hes constantly went gold without any big name producing and he was the idea behind a RAP CLASSIC..He has never dropped a wack album, and he doesnt come wack on guest appearnce, dude did almost a hundred grand off all out war 1..He deserves more respect and Imo Godzilla and Thug Lords were 4.5\5 cds
