Not a bad horror flick. I liked it...100% realistic and has a lot of good suspense. The girls in the theater were scared off their ass. I kinda thought it would have more of a back story, but I guess it's just meant to be a horror/mystery. Good first film for Bryan Bertino. I'll be checking for his shit.

the movie was straight as in suspense and all.
but first off: that scene where that nigga was axing down the door and that white guy blasted the shotgun at the door. how my man didnt get hit??? eye didnt like that at all

second, his dumbass friend that came to pick the nigga up. let me ask you something if you were in that position. wouldnt you first turn off that annoying fuckin music second keepin yellin ya friends name?? eye know eye would

^Obviously, dude had bad aim, cuz he missed both times...I meant that the movie is realistic in the sense that this could actually happen to someone, not like those horror movies with ghosts, people coming back to life, invincible serial killers, etc. It's all based in reality. It's what makes it more scary...PeACe

I didnt like it. They basically redid Vacancy except instead of a hotel out in the middle of nowhere it was a house out in the middle of nowhere.

Yeah, that's how I felt about this. Plus, this time they had no point. "Because your home." That was fucking stupid especially after they leave and pick up Christian pamphlets. Lol.

I thought it would be good too but i watched it a couple of nights ago and it was too predictable and boring.

The only thing that bothered me about this movie was that the strangers were like aliens most of the time; moving from one space to another in a split second, dissapering all of a sudden.... Other than that, I really liked it, it had that realistic vibe to it, which is what I am looking for in horror movies and not some zombie shit. But like I said, that vibe was ruined by supernatural strangers.
