Is Seer cheaping out on monthly bandwidth usage for dubcc?

Holy shit, this site is so slow. During the wait time it takes me to open one thread here I can open 3 new stories on digg.com, one of the most popular community based news websites today.
I know elior made a thread about this a few months ago and there was never any clear answer...
Seer, Rud, whoever pays the bills for this place.... Is it the sigs? Or have you been scaling back the monthly internet budget so you can wine and dine your chick?

Its nothing to do with servers/bandwith it was someone hammering the database to search!

1) SIGS. they arent even on teh dubcc server, they have ZERO effect.

2) monthly bandwidth. as the name suggests... woukd stop the site working when it ran out in the month.


there has been no change to the hosting situation of dubcc for a few years now, however the server does appear to be under load. i'm onto the hosting people about it, as dubcc hasnt changed in any way, so the hosting should reflect that.
