This topic ain't about Celtics/Lakers, but since this was brought up, gotta give my 2 cents. Simply put, the Lakers were not in Boston's league talent-wise. Pau Gasol was exposed to the world as a soft interior player who should NEVER, NEVER have been put in a superstar class (kinda like Jermaine O'Neal was). Their team defense was terrible, and their offense relied on Kobe trying to create his own shot and that backfired because of how good the Celtics D is. The Lakers built their team as the Kobe Bryant and the Kobets, but the Celtics actually built a team. Their only weakness was that they had that bum Cassell backing up Rondo and didn't play Eddie House more. Anyone that really knows the game of basketball, after watching this series, knows that Boston basically dominated the Lakers. And I know that people are going to bring up "but Andrew Bynum was injured and he would have made the difference". The only difference that Andrew Bynum would have made in this series is that Boston would have only won by 15 or 20 points in game 6 instead of almost 40. Remember, the Celtics swept the season series against the Lakers...with Bynum playing both games.
