Quote from: NauticaICE on July 02, 2008, 04:36:58 PMwow, R.I.P. music industry this just in , More jobs to be cut more people to be laid off I was just reading in billboard magazine how sales are down from last year, and last year was the first year ever that the industry didn't sell something like 600 million albums. So this shit keep gettin worse and worse time for niggaz to find a new hustle. And tos is an good album at that.
Got what they deserved:- album budget of a mixtape- same old predictable singles formula, same subject matter as in 03, no growth- 50 wasn't even there for the most part of the promotion, he was shooting a movie and you know nobody gives a fuck about Banks and Yayo- the cd must have been made in like 2 months, 50 probably wants to get off Interscope as soon as possible, allowing Banks & Yayo to get some dough in the process- I can already see the exuse: "the album material was too agressive to be accepted by the general public/ demographic" from 50's favorite book "how to sound articulate and stay a G"
