so my ipods already fucked......

my screen is fucking frozen. (on the song california love by 2pac  )

so when i plug it into my computer it says its corrupted. It says i can restore it but when i press okay itunes closes.

now when i try to unplug and replug it in, itunes is like freezing on me until i unplug the ipod.

Anybody know what the fuck is going on? I dont even think ive had this piece of shit for a month and its already breaking? Can i take it back and get a replacement or what?

That happened to my ipod a while back, it was stolen so I couldnt send it in for a replacement. So then I came up on a zune, ive had it for about 2 years now n havent had that problem.

Depends on how long ago you bought it.

Have you tried this (applies to the click wheel ipod):

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.

If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.
