I think at this point it is safe to say the West Coast is loaded with a lot of new talent. From artists who already have secured deals with majors, to young artists who are doing major things on the independent scene, to various other up coming acts. Each artists possesses a different quality that makes this new West Coast class so unique you can’t just label it any type of style. What I wanted to do with the help of you guys was first to list all the West Coast acts we have names that the general public is not that familiar with yet. After the list I want us to come up with a top 10 rankings of the west similar to what MTV has with the Fab 5 list of artists to look out for. This should be done in fun and with the intent to promote our acts not to create problems or division. First let’s list all the acts we have now then once we know all names are included and we have not excluded any names we can move on to the ranking process, analysis, and breakdowns in a new thread. By the way I have been a long time reader in the forum and I look forward to our debates in the future.
Disclaimer- Please do not list acts who have already have had albums out years back even if you feel they are underrated we are focusing on new talent so we can’t add
Dj Quik, Kurupt, Snoop, mack 10 Daz, etc etc

Thanks for the input in regards to the other names, but the key word is Buzz like the above poster mentioned the acts have to have a buzz wether it's in their own area, radio buzz, club shows, internet buzz etc they have to have a fan base and a certain buzz.
I can't add Knocturnal to the list despite him being a talented rapper he had two major albums drop on Elektra so the public has already been exposed to him through Dre, and his major albums.
