Who here is familiar with the club mix of "What's my name/Who am I"? I heard Snoop do a Power 106 radio drop version back in 02 over the instrumental to this, and I found the regular version of it a few months afterwards. The beat is nearly identical, but the bassline resembles "Funkin for Jamaica" more in that it doesn't loop the same way every two bars...it's kinda hard to explain.

I found the vinyl of it yesterday, and I haven't even heard it yet. I think the extended version said it's like 8-10 minutes long, and the instrumental is like 4 minutes or so. I don't know if it's rare, but I can upload it if no one has it...but I know somebody on here had the club version a few years back.

I got this on the What's My Name CD single - the bassline is the exact same one from "Funkin for Jamaica" as I recall (the album cut had an original bassline they wrote as far as I can tell). It's super long, and there's a bit where it pans left to right a few times and then different drums come in and the overall beat changes a bit (with the Funky Worm sample in it I think) and there's that bit where they sing "Snoop Doggy Dogg is whooo he iss, gotta get him into yooou" for ages - good shit

LOL yeah that is the one I remember hearing. It is hella long...Death Row/Dre used to always have those long remixes...like the Lady of Rage "Afro puffs" remix that Snoop freestyled at the beginning, and the "Let me ride" remix.
