I dig all their shit up to Apocalypse 91. They are still my favorite group with NWA and OUTKAST. IMO The greatest group ever.

Here's a l'il news for y'all:

(source allhiphop.com)
Public Enemy is preparing their latest album, Revolverlution for a summer release. The announcement of the new album comes on the heels of a new deal between Chuck D.'s long standing SlamJamz imprint and white Koch Entertainment.

The album will feature 14 tracks and four of the tracks are winners from the producer contest that the group held at SlamJamz.com last year. The album also features live versions of the classic Public Enemy songs "Welcome To The Terrordome," "Fight The Power," and "Uzi Weighs A Ton."

This is PE's first album since 1999's There's A Poison Goin' On. Walter Leaphart, President of SlamJamz Records, praised the group's new alliance with KOCH Entertainment. "We're excited about partnering with KOCH on this venture. Bob Frank and his team consistently deliver innovative and comprehensive marketing and sales programs, and we're thrilled to work with them on such a trailblazing project."

Bob Frank, President of KOCH Entertainment says, "On this, their 15th anniversary, Public Enemy is yet again revolutionizing the business. This innovative release concept will introduce them to a new generation as well as satisfy their existing fans. We're looking forward to a long, fruitful partnership with Public Enemy and SlamJamz Records."

Public Enemy will launch an international tour in the fall to support the album.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

I think Chuck D is a better activist/black nationalist then he is a rapper.  I read his book and read his articles at his website.  He's a very intelligent and mature cat, a good person to look up to.  I never really got into his music much though.
