Marion to the Lakers for Odom and Mihmn?

NBA Rumors: Shawn Marion On The Move?

Shawn Marion has been one of the more underrated players in the NBA for the past few years. His numbers and production have ranked up there with all the stars of the league.

Last season the Heat traded Shaq for Marion in a blockbuster deal, and after drafting Michael Beasley, Marion could be traded once again.

Riley wants to keep Marion so he can use his large expiring contract at seasons end, but Marion wants to go to a contender and sign a contract extension, and that is not with Miami.

The Heat have been drawing interests from the Lakers, Warriors, and Clippers.

The  Lakers would be a nice fit for Marion. They need a defensive player, and Marion is one of the best. He can be able to run with Kobe and will be a nice asset to the triangle.

The Lakers would have been rumored to already offer Lamar Odom and Chris Mihm. I see this trade being fair for the Heat. In return they get Odom's large expiring contract and a solid center, in which they need, with Mihm.

The Warriors would be able to offer Al Harrington's expiring contract for Marion, who would fit right in with the running system of Don Nelson.

Monta Ellis recently expressed interest in wanting to play in Miami. A possibility is sign and trade deal with Ellis and Harrington for Marion, Marcus Banks, and a first round pick.

For the Heat, they get the point guard Riley wants, who can run and set up Dwayne Wade.

If Ellis wants to leave, they would sign and trade to get Marion, who can bring in a defensive attitude for the Warriors.

The Warriors are going to trying to keep Ellis, but Ellis has the attitude that he wants to move to another team. In that case, they would have a lot of extra cap space to sign a Emeka Okafor or a Josh Smith. After losing Baron Davis, they got in trouble.

The Clippers, who also have a lot of cap space, are interested in Marion. They want a fast paced line up with Davis, Eric Gordon, Marion, and Al Thornton.

A trade that possibly could work is if the Clippers send off a first round pick for Marion.

Since the Heat got Beasley, who will most likely be playing small forward, Marion has been rumored to being on the move.

The most likely scenario is Marion ending up with the Warriors if Ellis wants to go to Miami.

Any team can pick up free agents, but trades can make an even bigger difference. Just ask the Boston Celtics.

Please God, no!

what the fuck? nothing against marion, hes one of the best garbage bucket players in the league today, but neither the lakers nor the clippers need marion and his piece of shit contract.

clippers need to use the rest of their capspace filling the void elton brand left, and marion is not gonna be dominating cats in the low-post. as for lakers, if marion didnt want to be the 3rd option on suns, how is he gonna handle being the 4th option with the lakers? he's not as productive on offense without a star PG creating for him, and d. fish is a triangle point guard, hes not gonna be easily create scoring opportunities for other players.

Overrated? Wow...Odom is considered one of the more UNDERrated players in the league. On top of that, Marion is not a triangle fit and this trade would be awful for the Lakers. Check yourself before you claim other people don't deserve to watch basketball.

Mosav is probably just trying to cut Spice some slack because he feels embarrassed to be known as Spice's friend.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

LOL...Anyways, I think it's safe to say this was just a stupid rumor. No way Lakers are shopping Odom for Marion if they weren't even willing to part ways with him for Artest.
