Rap fans are too impressionable
« on: July 23, 2008, 10:36:55 AM »
whatever an artist says, everybody starts to believe it

TI claimed king of the south on his first album. right on the intro he was saying it, and eventually people just bought into it
lil Wayne started saying he was the best rapper alive... fucks around and now according to the public he is. same thing happened with jay before (though he is closer)
everyone claim they in the streets... that their shit just isnt a persona or an act or whatever. who knows the truth, but we all still get choked up when it comes out.

biggie: king of new york, i wanna be it.
duets cover: crown on his head.

I think TI is the KOTS but I don't think so just cause he said it - I don't think Wayne is the best rapper alive or even close to it.

According to the best rapper alive, the world is gonna end in 2012.  We best heed his warning.
