Thanks for the objective reality, allowing me to critisize others and sound so wise...
Too bad it was all lies...

But thanks for the inspiration you gave me,
At a time when my life was full of pain,
You did intellectually encourage and stimulate my brain...

Filled my mind with a philosophy, I sought to find its reality...
but couldn't see your magnificence in this plain old world....

So I sought to convert others, to the ideals you held,
and in the process developed myself
Into more of what I wanted to be...

but the world doesn't move in black and white, Christian, Muslim and atheist...

The labels don't mean shit when it all comes down to it...

You expect a certain thing from a certain person or group,
And soon I promise you will end up looking like a fool...

You'll be a fool like me, so you keep attempting...
To shape the world according to your idealistic dream...

but its still just the "plain old world".

Its still injustice, it still worships the dollar...
Am I mad cause its wrong or mad cause i'm jealous...

Objectivity is a slippery slope ya'll.. let me tell it...

So lets force our morality, and make people "good"... but what is good and bad anyway?

And who can ever really be forced?  Any coersion is temporary at best...
And any teaching, they will soon forget...

So you gonna re-educate? you gonna polarize, and divide along clear lines just so you can see straight....

Its still the same old world.
