What a great selection of early 90s hip-hop. You have a genuine classic in MC Eiht's 'Streiht Up Menace' (the best hip-hop soundtrack cut ever? Get's my vote). You have quintessential West Coast funk in Ant Banks' 'Packin' A Gun' and Quik's 'Can't Fuck With A Nigga'. You have that gritty West Coast shit before everyone started jocking Snoop in 94 on Da Lench Mob's 'Guerillas Ain't Gangstas'. You have golen-era East Coast cuts like Pete Rock and CL's 'Death Becomes You' and Brand Nubian's joint. You have classic-sounding early 90s R&B like Hi-Five.It's just all there. Let it play. What an awesome soundtrack.
Menace wasnt a menace without ugk...once the 808 dropped n u heard pimp c..its a done deal..
