Blockbuster 3 team Trade: Bay to Boston, Manny to LA, prospects to Pitt

we kept: kemp, loney, ethier, billingsley, kershaw, broxton, dewitt, etc etc.  we kept our future in tact, and got ourselves an amazing player that should help us knock the fucking dbacks outta 1st and take this motherfuckin NLW title!!!!

from what i saw, i think dewitt will have a very solid career...laroche didnt impress ANYONE at all.  sure, he hit well in the minors, but how many players put up great #s in the minors, only to do squat in the majors?

Logan White thinks Laroche is the best out of all the team's youngsters. And that says a lot, better than what any random fan thinks of him.  Dewitt still needs more time, to see if he can be an everyday major leaguer.  How many top tier prospects do you know, can get more walks than strikeouts in their first 152 at bats?  That's not that often.  Laroche would always struggle after every promotion all the way from A to AAA.  Naturally he wasn't gonna come in guns blazing, but shit it's sad how much shit he has gotten for doing a poor job in his first 152 at bats.  There's a lot of asshole fans out there.

DeWitt has been a better player in the majors than LaRoche, but they are both young and should both improve. LaRoche was really highly regarded, and he could blossom into a really great player. But the Dodgers just got Casey Blake to play 3rd, have DeWitt for the future, and got the best offensive player in the game in Manny Ramirez. If they don't win the pathetic NL West now, they are a joke..Arizona has a couple good starters and will step it up a little bit, and Colorado could get hot, but the Dodgers should take the division. They weren't going to get Jason Bay instead, Pittsburgh and Boston were already set in this, they were just looking for a 3rd team. The main reason for the trade is that Boston wanted to get rid of Manny. By the way, who plays center for the Dodgers now? I figure they start Ramirez, Ethier and Kemp, so Kemp in center?

If you really have to ask who plays CF, then are you even watching the Dodger games this year?  Dewitt and laroche both dont have enough ML at bats to see who's better, it's frankly stupid to make anything out of it.

It's not like if we are getting Manny for more than 1 year.  Fans should understand that basically, if we do not make it to the NLCS, this trade will be a bad trade. Personally, I see it as a huge risk a for a World Series ring.  I still lean on both sides of the argument.  It's not a steal eithe, but there are times that I feel it could be a good risk. If we were in 1st place with a record like the Angels, then I think that trade would actually be much better.  If we don't make the playoffs, basically any sort of production from 3B will already make it a bad trade automatically.  Anything more than good, we're starting to get into embarrassing territory for the deal.
