background vocals on yo recording program

well, i use sound forge, i know many peepz here is using acid pro,
on sound forge , to create background vocals i gotta work for like an hour feating shit...pasting and stuf, may be there is some better-short-easy way to do it...if anyone knowes plz do tell?...
also i know it's much easier on acid pro...i would like to know how yall inserting background vocz on acid pro, altho i aint got it.

All u do is record over yur original verse and add background vocals or place sound effects......It's much easier than Sound Forge.
