I give the edge to Streetz on lyrics but not by much. Daz was flowing on that RAW album. Beats he was on point also. But Kurupt stepped it up big time on Streetz. That and Doggfather IMO are the prototype for DPGC albums.

Both are classics but i will have to go with "Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha", like the homie D-Nice said, it's an Dogg Pound Gang album. Everybody is there, Snoop, Daz, Tray Deee, Warren G, Soopafly, Nate Dogg, Roscoe, Butch Cassidy. Bad Azz wasn't though, but you can hear him on the hook of "Ride With Us".

Soopafly said it best on that album

Individually we the shit, but together we can't be fucked with

To me, at they height, DPGC was like a west coast Wu-Tang. Capable MC's, dope producers, the whole 9. They could really produce albums with no outside help. Yeah Dre was a big part of their early success, but these 2 albums showed they could venture out on their own. Me personally, I don't even really consider alot of DPGC guests on each other's albums a problem. That was one positive I liked about Tha Streetz and Doggfather. It showcased the crew. Same with Tha Streetz. We got introduced to Fred Wreck, Roscoe (he killed his verse), Meech Wells beats on a Kurupt album, Crooked I busting with Kurupt, etc. Where alot of them get into trouble with they albums is when they try left field shit or get away from the family.

Not to make it seem like I do not like RAW. That was a crazy album too. Beats were on some other shit, bass heavy, hard hitting, melodic. Daz did not sound forced or rushed like he does at times now on the mic. Guests were few, but all of them crew and did they thing well. A true Daz solo, by far his best.

Raw was good but common its no contest. Streetz gave Kurupt mad credit, next album he was doing songs with Fred durst who was hot at the time and everlast. Dude was about to blow up..i dont know what happened

It would definitely be Streetz iz a Mutha for me, but RAW was somewhat close. By the way was I the only one who thought Girls all pause was way overrated?

Streetz easily. it has more replay value and is ageless. RAW was great too though.

Streetz had the whole DPG click on there, so you can't go wrong. Kurupt is better than Daz anyway. haha
