daz is a crackhead
I mean Ice Cube is one of the greatest MC's of all time....DAZ cool in his prime, but this should be no suprise
I think Dogg Pound Gangsta LP was the closest thing to a classic Daz album in awhile. He has it in him but he's a hustler. He'd rather put out like three albums a year then concentrate on dropping a classic 1 and that's why I think his stock has dropped. With the Death Row shit, he was around hungry and talented cats at that time. Dre was around there and the DPG camp was at its best. Death Row had a reputation to live up to. Dre, Suge, etc. would never have let him drop anything that wasn't 100%. A Daz-produced Dogg Pound group album should be anticipated like a solo album from DJ Quik. That used to be on the checklist, man. Anything Dre or Quik fucked with was must-own. Anytime that Daz or Kurupt did something, you had to have it. I think the biggest disappointment was when Kurupt put out that Daz-produced solo album and it was cool but not quite where it should have been.

We need more Daz/Cube collabos. Strizzap is the shit.
daz is a fucking joke if dogg chit was a polished cd, lyrically and production wise, it probably could have been a 4 mic album....concept-wise. at this point in daz's career, shouldn't he and kurupt just concentrate on making 16 nice ass songs and taking their time?
Daz need to Step up on makin some REAL WESTCOAST RAP BEATS as lately I had'nt heard a Real WestCoast Classic Album like DoggyStyle or Dogg Food in long awhile.Daz is a Master Mind you can't hate on Daz.He produced 100's of killer tracks that in some cases are better than alot of Cube's tracks.Daz Produced one of the Greatest rap albums of all time "DOGG FOOD"He making Beats and Rappin and that takes alot of Work.He a DON on his Game!We Waitin for a Classic old School WestCoast Album Daz !
