10 - We Rich (ft. Snoop Dogg & Fat Joe) * party track with cube and fat joe going back and forth and snoop dogg on the hook
11 - Boss Major (ft. DJ Khaled & Rick Ross) * cube talking about coming up and his movie career and ross talking about coming up with khaled on the beat
12 - I Got My Locs On (ft. Young Jeezy)
15 - Get Busy Girrrl (ft. Nelly & Akon) * party track with nelly getting the girls to move while cube tells them to shake their ass and akon brings the smooth hook
16 - Take Me Away (ft. Lil Wayne & Bobby Valentino) * depressing track with lil wayne spitting a deep verse and valentino on a depressing hook
17 - Thank God (ft. Kanye West & Usher) - throw kanye and usher on telling stories of prayer and give thanks to the man upstairs

Lil Wayne, Khaled, Rick Ross, Nelly, Fat Joe, Usher and T-Pain on a Cube album?  :psych:

I agree and disagree.

I dont think you always need Akon, T-Pain or anybody else to make a hit record.

It's just that some of these westcoast cats just dont know how to create hit records.

The only cat i think can make hit records is Clyde Carson 4 sure (2 Step, Doin Dat, California Sunshine and the other one) and maybe Jay Rock.

Because thats THE ONLY way Westcoast finna blow up. Thats how the South blew up....HIT SINGLES!!

They need to rap about SOMETHING with a good beat and shit. Basically music. Because mainstream fans dont wanna hear that "astronomical, mathematical" shit. I do. But they dont.

They just wanna enjoy the music itself.

I don't understand why the west is backin' of the synths...like come one, thats what made it in the first place. I think if you bring in those funky ass synth lines (like state of emergency on L.A.X) throw in a dirty south percussion...meaningful verses and hype as hooks.....you got your self the should-be-new-west.

This would be my tracklist if I was the executive producer and it would have platinum written all over it:

Ice Cube -- "My Footage"

01 - I Love L.A. (ft. Keisha Cole) * keisha would lead it off and cube would deliver the verses for a westcoast classic you can ride to
02 - Cube's Pain (ft. T-Pain) * This would be a darker track about growing up and struggling with T-Pain on the hook and have a piano in the beat
03 - Do Ya Thang
04 - LA Nites (ft. T-Pain) * This would be the signature T-Pain party track
05 - Why Me? (ft. Babyface) * Replace Musiqsoulchild with Babyface
06 - Les Deux and Area (ft. Nas & Jagged Edge) * party track with nas and cube flossing and JE on the hook
07 - V.I.P. (ft. Rick Ross & R. Kelly) * party track talking about what happens when ross and cube roll up to the club with kel's on the hook
08 - Get Money, Spend Money, No Money
09 - Get Used To It (ft. The Game & WC) * banger
13 - Get My Drink On (ft. Tha Dogg Pound)  * add a Cube verse to the track and chalk it up for the classics
14 - Friday Night Lights (ft. Kanye West) * cube and kanye talking about all the girls that want to sleep with them for the lifestyle and the money

LMAO!!

Word, those synth whines just scream west coast too me, and Game showed on State Of Emergency how dope that shit can still sound, on Squeeze by Daz he got that shit sounding dope and up to date too...

Yeah man...like even if the rhymes on a song like that are wack, it still has some intense replay value just cus of that. I might just have to make my own shit if no one else will. Big ups to game and daz for at least tryin'. Also check out "South Central" by S.C.C and even Last call by Outkast, they got that shit down.

Lil Wayne, Khaled, Rick Ross, Nelly, Fat Joe, Usher and T-Pain on a Cube album?  :psych:

Game works with most of these artists.  Ice Cube should branch out.  Cube and Nelly would sound dope.  So many people would dance to that.  Plus, Rick Ross is running Florida and his last album debuted at #1, put him on there.  Cube and Nas would sound dope just like Game and Nas sound great.  Cube and Wayne is a must collabo.  Nas' collabos with DJ Khaled are off the hook.  I want to see more of "War & Peace" type mainstream stuff from Cube.  Kanye and Cube would be a dream collabo.  That song Game did with Kanye was a hit.  This is why Game sells way more records than Cube these days because he branches out and Cube doesn't.  Nas and Game did that track with Chris Brown -- I think if Cube did one with Nas and Jagged Edge it would be off the hook.  Plus, Game did a killer appearance on Chris Brown's album.  Cube needs to go back to the "Until We Rich" and "We Be Clubbin" type songs and throw in the main artists like Nelly, Ross, Khaled, Wayne, Fat Joe, Nas, and some real R&B singers like Ray J, Jagged Edge, Usher, and Bobby Valentino.  Cube and Ray J would be a tight westcoast collaboration just like Warren G and Ray J.

As far as the budget goes for this lineup, Game has been working with most of these artists and he has no problem with his budget -- in fact, he recorded over 200 tracks for L.A.X. and a lot of tracks with guest artists didn't even make the album because he had to squeeze it down to 18 cuts.

Also, Nelly and Game will sell way more records than Cube not necessarily because they are better but because they are smarter and collab with way better artists than Butch Cassidy.  Nelly is going to be huge again with that Rick Ross single in rotation, and that Ashanti / Akon single, plus Fergie and Usher singles.  Nelly and Game are the big dogs in hip hop and Cube is allowing himself to slip to minor league status.

Im juss happy Wayne sold a milli and showed Hip-hop is still alive and well. Nas, Game and Cube will all sell too. But the West does look like its getting much better. Alot of South artists been showin respect to Cali and alot of West artists are dropping this year. Alot of solid albums dropping this year (Jeezy, T.I., Game....).
