Coles is good, but i picked him up mostly cus of the Brett Favre factor. Those Jets receivers might have a better then normal year. Also, I was hearing before the draft that Ricky Williams might get the starting nod over Ronnie Brown. So had to pick him up.props for knowing the deal...yea, Chambers is a beast. of course I know that, following his career with the Dolphins. another year in the system with Rivers and they're good to go. only thing I don't like is Gates and LT taking away his looks. he's a beast when he gets the ball.as for Coles, I agree. he could very well be Favre's new Greg Jennings.GREAT pickup with Ricky. both of them were actually taking first team snaps at practice today, so they're gonna ease Ronnie back into action.

Schaub is undervalued and they'll be throwing more.I'm not so sure about Maroney and the Pats' backfield situation tho..
alright so my friends and I are having a fantasy league and the draft was yesterday. The Winner gets 1200 dollars which is pretty sick but i was the 8th pick in the draft. So heres my team tell me what you think about it.QB - Tony Romo, Matt Schaub, Brodie Croyle(bench)RB - Clinton Portis, Lawrence Maroney, Thomas Jones (Bench), Darren Sproles (Bench)WR - Plexico Burress, Wes Welker, Chris Chambers, Dwayne Bowe (bench) Devon Hester (bench)TE - Todd Heap, D.Lee (Bench)D - San Diego ChargersK - Akers
pos (# of starters)QB(1) - both ManningsRB(2) - McGahee, McFadden, Fargas, Kevin SmithWR(3) - TO, Galloway, Vincent Jackson, Kevin CurtisTE(1) - Dallas Clark, Zach MillerK(1) - Adam VinatieriDEF(1) - New England, Tampa Bay

McGahee is alright. McFadden is a rook, so he's a question mark. But I think he'll be good. Fargas will be splitting carries with him. So unless one of em emerges as the overwhelmingly better back...they each might only get half the carries a normal starting back would. If you can, go pick up Perry (if he's still available) from Cincy. He's fighting Rudi Johnson for the starting spot. But Johnson has injury problems, and word is Cincy is shopping him for a receiver (with Ocho Cinco out).

I usually gamble with one player a year though, I did with Cadillac Williams his rookie year, Carson Palmer his first year as a starter, and this starts way back to when Shaun Alexander took over for Ricky Waters when he got hurt. So this year, I decided I'm gamble on McFadden, but got Fargas just in case one gets hurt, 'cause last year the Raiders had the best running game and one will get 1,000. But I'm still shopping Eli for a solid RB.

But it could be over a month before then. But before you get rid of Eli....u might want to drop Curtis and pick up a free agent back.
