Of course the team is gonna show no passion right now. They're in the middle of a bad streak.  It's baseball, you gotta take the ups and downs like a man. 

You may be right but the Dodgers are playing pathetic right now and I dont think they will make the playoffs, you guys picked up Manny, Blake and Maddux and you guys are still playing this poorly, it's hard to imagine

Shit happens when 3 workhorse relief pitchers hit the DL around the same time.  If you seen from most of my posts, I thought it was just gonna be a tight race with the addition of Manny, but when AZ got Dunn...I knew it was gonna be pretty hard to overcome.  The Maddux trade was pretty useless, I think we could have done better with Stults or McDonald in the 5th slot.  Sure people say that once Maddux is here, pitchers start to do better...but look at most of our pitching staff stats when maddux came...it was about the same as before he got there.  Maddux can tell you how to pitch, but not many pitchers have the same pin point location he's had.  Plus, when the shit hits the fan most of these pitchers go back to pitching to how they've always have gotten it do. lol sorry for the rant

The Dodgers still have a chance, as do the Rockies somehow, but Arizona should pull it off because they have the best pitching. Their bullpen isn't great, but they have 2 aces, Johnson pitching good, and enough offense to pull it out. One thing I've noticed where the Dodgers really hurt themselves is way too many double plays and strikeouts with runners on, and they can't get it done. A couple notorious culprits of that are Martin, Blake, and Kent. The D'Backs are struggling so it's still up in the air, but their pitching down the stretch should take it, and make them a tough postseason opponent.

add loney to that list.  he has bounced into like 21 DP this season.  team leader in DP..and RBI if that makes any difference lol.

over the last 6 games, i think we gone like 4-40 w/RISP.  cant win the division playing like that.

we hit 3 HR last night, but they were all solo shots.  maybe things are starting to turn around?
