Their bullpen isn't great, but they have 2 aces, Johnson pitching good, and enough offense to pull it out. One thing I've noticed where the Dodgers really hurt themselves is way too many double plays and strikeouts with runners on, and they can't get it done. A couple notorious culprits of that are Martin, Blake, and Kent. The D'Backs are struggling so it's still up in the air, but their pitching down the stretch should take it, and make them a tough postseason opponent.add loney to that list. he has bounced into like 21 DP this season. team leader in DP..and RBI if that makes any differance lol.over the last 6 games, i think we gone like 4-40 w/RISP. cant win the division playing like that.we hit 3 HR last night, but they were all solo shots. maybe things are starting to turn around?

Yeah, I forgout about that. The way the lineup is, they have to rely on the home run and balls hit into the gap. If Kemp can get on a nice hitting streak again and get on base in that leadoff spot, they would be looking a lot better. They need to establish that presence so teams will have to either pitch to Manny or the hitters before and after him, where Jeff Kent has had most of his career success. The way the pitching has battled this year is impressive, only big name guy is Lowe, but maybe they are wearing down. How about the Padres sweeping Arizona, who had their 3 best pitchers going in the series? The NL West is awful this year, 3 teams still have hope because of this.
Having that big bumbling idiot Broxton as a closer isn't helping matters either....
'Oh I can't see him, I can't see God', YA'LL CAN'T SEE FUCKIN' AIR NEITHER!
Prove to me the wind. Show me the wind man. I want proof of that shit. Cuz I don't see it.
