a couple of thoughts on this thread:

game and dre should make amends, and work on something together. it would be humongous...
even more humongous if game and 50 got together, squashed shit and did a track or two
on a dre beat. for real. that'd be beast satus.

i don't speak much on industry politics because i don't know these men personally and could really care less,
but i think i really do wanna hear game over dre beats again. his vocal performance was a lot stronger
with dr. dre guiding him too, his lyrics have gotten way iller since then too.

also, for people saying dre isn't relevant, yall are bugging. the mere fact that half the threads
on this messageboard are about dre is proof enough. plus i read recently that he made over 15 million
last year doing jack shit, how? his back catalog. im not sure if it was in 06 or 07, but 2001 re entered
the british charts and was selling out there again. come on dawg, an album that came out in 99 selling
enough to be on the charts in 07? what hip hop producer/artist can claim that?

Give me a break.  First off, a little history lesson -- there were tons of labels looking to sign The Game.  The Game has this little thing called TALENT.  If he wouldn't have blown up with Aftermath, he would have blown up with Bad Boy -- Puffy was all about signing him.  Def Jam was looking at him and Death Row didn't act on his mixtape.  He did a track with The New Edition titled "Hot 2 Nite Remix" where he's saying "Bad Boy" on the track.  Diddy loves The Game and he almost damn near was on Bad Boy Entertainment.  If he wouldn't have blown up on Aftermath he would have on Bad Boy or another top label.  So check your facts next time before you ride Doctor Dre's nutsack.

Talent doesn't break an artist these days. Let's be real. There's a gang of talented artists who can't get a deal like that. I really don't want to turn this into hate on Game thing but the guy caught the opportunity of a lifetime. You think people just checked for him because he was a new West Coast artist on a major label? Nothing to do with the fact that he was Dr. Dre's new protege from Compton? Nothing to do with the fact that he was fucking with G-Unit when they were the hottest selling label out? Yes, talent has something to do with it but the way an artist is packaged has even more.
