You're right, NWA wasn't bitching and crying in their interviews. You know why? Because no one before them had as much mainstream success as they did you stupid fuck. They didn't have a Snoop Dogg or Ice Cube-like figure that had to cosign them to be accepted by the mainstream. They busted their asses to make it big, and they set the bar for cats like Crooked I (who isn't that old, think he's 27 or 28), Eastwood, G. Malone, etc. to find additional outlets for revenue and to create additional buzz. You might not have realized that those Hip-Hop Weeklies Crooked I was doing built up a pretty good buzz for him. Unfortunately he failed to capitalize on it when it came to promoting his debut cd, but he's on people's minds. I'm not a big G. Malone fan personally, but I respect his hustle for finding ways to make money outside of the standard recording contract. Like Lucc said in one of the Dubb Union threads.

As far as the people making comments about the sales, we're not trippin on all that. Nobody is selling records. The point of puttin out an album now is 2 get gr8 reviews and have word of mouth set u up for shows so u can get that show money. I dont care what the album does as far as sales go, honestly. I just want the people 2 go out and tell the world of how dope an album they just purchased
