In a way, it's like yeah, why change perfection...but then, it's like damm...some songs will really just take a simple loop and change like 5-10% of it, and everyone talks about how great of a producer they are...while others spend countless hours to perfect beats they created.A LOT of songs are like this....this isn't the same. Cube's "It was a good day" is a COMPLETE loop from the Isleys, and the only thing added was the female's voice on there. Kanye also "produced" the "Summertime" song on 213, which was a complete loop from one of the Jacksons that he just sped up a bit. I do think it's a bit suspect...sampling can be a very creative art, but sometimes, I feel like fans and even other producers give TOO MUCH credit when the producer didn't do shit but loop part of a song that someone spent hours on mixing, recording, and paying real musicians to play.
