I have cool, and sound forge.

I was thinking from this perspective.

I've laced a beat - its not final, and I've got someone who wants to spit over it.
So I send them what I have and they send back some rhymes over it.
I can tweak the track behind to insert things in between verses or whatever.

Thinking of it like this i'd like to be able to see the tracks above one another - and be able to edit the vocal track to extend / decrease pauses, and tweak the volume etc

Is cool edit able to do this?
(i'm used to sound forge)
