Gotta agree with Rick on the "Times Have Changed" part...

If you know the industry you will know things have changed dramatically - wayne's release was just a spike and based on his massive media prescence and the fact that, like it or not, Lollipop was MASSIVE worldwide -

Game has done well with those figures based on his singles/videos and media presence. He now needs to aim for a less than 50% drop off in sales in the second and third weeks and he'll be fine to pass Gold.

Album sales of an artist have no direct impact on how we enjoy listening to music.  If they really want the music out they will Myspace that shit and get a dayjob.
