Nowdays people see red and go all evil,
Desiteful, got no clue how to treat you,
Wish upon a star that 1 day you'll make it,
Make millions and have many celebraties naked,
Cos these days got people actin mindless,
World being taken over by sheer and utter blindness,
Arguements are settled by the trigger not the mind,
Like a snake I sliver and bite from behind,
Cos shits not right, people use fists to fight,
Instead of having the mite to use brain cells,
People end up rottin in prison cells,
Cos it gets hot in hells kitchen,
When the record keep keeps switchen,
And you got no clue what to cook cos the wife keeps bitchin,
Tryin to do good and bring the kids up successful,
But its hard when you people who just wont let you,
Tryin to run the block duckin from cops,
Like a mafia boss collectin the do from shops,
Steppin on turf that belongs to a rival gang,
Verbal abuse is shouted every word is slang,
I feel I've been sent to try and teach lessons,
But I can't, when I'm gone in 25 seconds,

Drug dealers, con artists around here are careers,
Knifes being brandished at any given time,
Around here people get by, by relying on crime,
Money aint flowin so people aint leavin,
Still findin ways to get by schemin,
I ain't no angel but I aint no demon,
Nobody got an idea of what I'm feelin,
I'm by the book, tryin to do things legal,
Got a job sellin fruit but its like climbin a steeple,
Getting no where fast hope this spell will pass,
Cos at this rate I'm never gunna last,
Trippin over bodies lyin in alleys,
Stacked up as high as mountains entraped in valleys,
Blood, murder, cold hard killin,
Homicidal thoughts that just aint fufillin,
It aint me to be something that am just not,
My plot will be to take the whole lot,
And get out this place, because the taste is sour,
And I will do everything thats in my power,
To rise above the rest, leave this nest,
Cos I'm sick of this place that I have grown to call home,
25 seconds on my own, when you turn around I'll be gone,

Seein bullets flying past me like menace to society,
So I gotta get out, before I end up in a casket,
Or even worse my head placed neatly in a basket,
So as I carry my cross I only know death beckons,
