i guess everyone who thought 'grow up' flopped when it seemed to dissapear was wrong. but that was the most likely scenario - nobody would have guessed that the label actually had the track silenced ;d

grow up is my fav. tracc by bishop.. and one of the few songs i've played on repeat over a month...

On a business level scrapping that song as the single was the best thing they done...IMO i love the track but its not Dre's full potential & its not Bishop's full potential...if they used that as a single for the album i dont think Bishop would buzz that much as what Game did...IMO Bishop's mixtapes are the best mixtapes ive heard (as far as material goes)....hate to say it but if Grow Up is a sign of what Dre is doin on the boards then i aint really feelin it...i think cats like Focus droppin heaters right now..........and thats the record bizz for you i mean no one can say Bishop has more buzz than what Game had before he dropped and i wouldnt be suprised if he is dropped from interscope cause of that...i hope he isnt i hope he goes all the way through....if it dont though Bishop still has the talent to do it indie or will be picked up by a major.......if dre doesnt release Detox soon then ppl will have higher expectations for it than they have now.....i still got faith in Dre though

Man someone over at Interscope has their head up their ass. The last couple moves and decisions made make absolutely no sense.

lol at "hit record" heres thr 411, the song was pulled because dre wanted to make it single and wanted to release bishops album before his, and wanted to focus on bustas album before detox, so jimmy iovine gave him an ultimatum, him and bustas relationship got knotted up because of it and jimmy released him! iovine then set a deadline for detox to be handed in completed by the end of the year, and basically like most aftermath artists jimmy iovine doesnt realy give a fuck about them and saw "grow up" as sub-par and wasnt recieving enough attention to be a single and was recieving no attention as a "dr dre beat", as you can probablly tell by now iovine wants to orchestrate hit records and bishop lamont is basically the "distraction" for jimmy iovine for getting dre to release detox. I wouldnt be surprised if Bishop eventually was released also, if busta rhymes is getting kicked dont expect bishop lamont to hold any hope

Hmm, makes sense if it's true.

Wow, a cease & desist against playing Grow Up?

It's been common knowledge for a good while that Interscope's fuckin' up, but DAMN.
