Why doesn't the Canadian government bring this columnist up on charges before its human rights commission? Or does your country only do that to conservative columnists?Man they got you brainwashed and you don't even know it........
And two columnists getting investigated for saying incredibly stupid, and racist columns doesn't prove Canada is against free speech.

LOL, do you not even recognize how stupid that statement is? Getting investigated for columns isn't against free speech? The point is that conservatives do not have free speech in your country. Which helps explain why you are so brainwashed and incapable of thinking for yourself. All you do is mindlessly repeat phrases and slogans you hear on TV such as voting for McCain is voting for 4 more years of George W. Bush. But you are too dumb to even know any of their specific policies, where they agree, where they differ. In other words, you are a complete moron.
yo King, where have you lived outside of Canada??In my experience, people are pretty stupid no matter where you go, and the Canada-US border doesn't change a damn thing other than Canada has a smaller population and people are a little bit more ignorant to the ways of human nature. Usually I don't let Canadians speak to me about the way the US is ran and it's people, because Canada is essentially lollipop land with little diversity and social ills compared to the US, so it's ok for them to apply their lofty ideals of being a good human to their governmental policies and get away with it. Having lived in America and Canada I can safely say both societies are equally ignorant. Just in different aspects.

Having lived in America and Canada I can safely say both societies are equally ignorant. Just in different aspects.I've lived in the US and spent about 6 months in France/Germany. I'm not saying Canadians are inherently smarter, but we are way more liberal nationally, and far less religious minded. We're also less arrogant, most Americans seem to have the mind set that their the best, best health care, best everything. Patriotism to the point of insanity. Modesty doesn't seem like the top quality in their culture. Both have entirely different cultures and ways of thinking. Canada is a lot like Europe culturally and in their mind set. A country who hands out guns to whoever wants one, can't be that smart, nor who elects their officials based on religion. I wouldn't say we're more ignorant to human nature, just less extreme. People are a lot nicer to each other up here, and it's not just being naive. Our lofty ideals are held by almost every other 1st world country. The US is a lot more ignorant to world views compared to most other countries. A lot more brainwashing, "God bless America", flags everywhere, singing the national anthem too often, school focused on American History. I've never heard the national anthem, outside a hockey game, or anyone ever say "God Bless Canada". Are the people equally stupid? Maybe, but in different ways. Americans are more closed minded socially, stemming from church and state practically overlapping. More imposing of each others views in the US as well. Too much obsession with freedom as well. Sometimes people are too stupid to make a decision for themselves, so the government needs to make it for you. Like health care.Americans are obsessed with wars, and winning those wars. The war on drugs, the war on terrorism. Drugs are bad, and the best way to solve the problem is to rid them from society! It's very black and white in the US. Americans are good, evil exists elsewhere. It's worldly ignorance. Iran is a threat, Venezula is evil. Evil exists anywhere but the US. It's very hard for them to realize the hypocrisy. For example, many people in the world think the Iraq War is just another form of terrorism. Or when Russia invaded Georgia, many Americans think that was evil, but Americans invading Iraq was just a mistake. (When I say "Americans" I'm referring to the majority)
