band documentaries
« on: September 19, 2008, 08:12:33 AM »
I was watched a documentary the other day about the band Refused called "Refused Are F*cking Dead" and it really got me interested in bands and artists struggling with internal issues and battling just to keep themselves together. I was hopin to get some recommendations of other docs to check out? Doesn't matter who the artist is. Here's a few examples of what I'm lookin for:

Refused Are F*cking Dead

Rock Bottom (new tv show, starts next month)

Metallica's Some Kind of Monster

That show looks cool. Like Behind The Music with young bands instead. You should check out Wilco's "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart". One of the band members actually leaves in the middle of filming.
