I agree, classic song. Battlecat dropped a dope ass beat! The chorus was filthy too.. i always thought that Snoop & Warren could have put more energy in their verses though, besides that though I havnt put this track away since it dropped. 1 of my favs from that 213 album

Daddy V made a song over this beat too.. back in the day i tried to bled the songs but lost time to finish it, heres a clip of what it sounded like

Yes. And yeah this album was totally mis-recieved when it came out. People trashed the fuck out of it, but i think the production on the album was way ahead of it's time!
It falls into that category where people expect something and judge the album based on that. In the case of this album, the fans wanted Warren G production on it and didn't get it. Now, I was actually someone who had reservations based on that but truthfully, I love the album. Doesn't matter who produced what or who is featured, it's just a dope album. No, it's not throwback G-Funk but it doesn't have to be.

People hated the album because no warren g production, but listening to the album now there are a lot of dope beats on it.  It was for the best warren stay of beats because of how wack he is, Snoop made a good call

It's not a classic but I still enjoy it.  If anything, 'Run On Up' or 'Gotta Find A Way' are two songs that could possibly be considered classics from the 213 album.
