I like some of Snoop's music. I'm a big fan of Crooked I, but it doesn't make me hate dude because thay got beef. I actually bought "Ego Trippin" and I love it.

I think like most emcees Crook shines better on hot beats. I don't think he's as good as the beat he's featured on, but it definitely affects his approach. I've heard Crook drop commercial quality tracks with no problem. I just think he doesn't follow the industry formula and does what he wants and I respect him for that.

Someone mentioned Crook is better on the tracks he remakes. That may seem true, but that's usually that the beat he chose is so hot he is probably inspired more. However, the Jim Gittum produced tracks I've heard Crook spit on are nuts!
